A Quick Little Update (and a Reintroduction)

Thank you for subscribing to At the Movies, my newsletter, blog, or whatever you’d like to call it, over the past year or so.

I recently came to the realization of what I want this space to be and why I haven’t been publishing as much as I’d like. I realized I was feeling confined to writing solely about film and would love to share more than just reviews and thoughts about cinema (although I will still do that!), so I’ve decided to change At the Movies to mumblecore, a nod to one of my favorite niche genres of film and also my tendency to… mumble. In addition to film-related writing, I hope you’ll stay with me for some poems, book and music reviews, and random ramblings.

I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has signed up to receive my newsletter, read (even one word!), and stuck around through my massive lulls in output. I’m looking forward to sharing much more.
